With the rapid development of the Information Age and under the background of new curriculum reform, graduates from the normal schools start to play an important role in teaching and in-service teachers also face the challenges of promoting in position, training and improving professional quality and so on. Thus the development of PE teachers' specialization is being paid much more attention than before. It contributes a lot to the development of PE teachers' specialization to participate in activities, such as PE teacher recruitment, outstanding teaching competition,PE teachers' basic s kills competition and professional skills competition. The Physical Education Normal colleges are responsible for cultivating excellent graduates and teachers for the society. However, there also exist some universal problems such as the difficulty of finding jobs, the poor ability of teaching and finishing teaching tasks. These problems also indicate that schools ignore the theory and teaching ability.The mini-class is a new-type teaching style to train the ability of normal students, which refers to “a simulative class” or “ a no-student class”. The mini-class requires little for the playground and it can evaluate the teachers' teaching ability in a short time, thus becoming the reliable ground rule for recruiting teachers, recognizing qualifications and evaluating abilities, etc.Based on searching a l arge amount of documentation literature and scientific teaching ability standards, this research adopts different methods including documentation literature searching, mathematics calculating and logical analysis in in vestigating three Physical Education colleges(Physical Educ ation college of Henan University, Physical Education college of Zhengzhou University and Physical Education college of Henan Normal University). The results indicate as follows:First, the training goals of Physical Education major presents a similar development but the approach to it is various according to different special features. The Physical Education College mainly train students by classes and internship program, which is so circumscribed.Second, the physical education classes and internship programs do play an important role in obtaining the teaching ability, while its quality and effect still remain to be improved. The physical education students pay much more attention to their skills while ignoring the theory knowledge.Third, most of the students have a clear goal to the future and are willing to be teachers, who think highly of the importance of teaching ability and school work. However, the students display variable teaching abilities.Fourth, Some of the physical education colleges lack the guidance of mini-coursees and the physical education students do not have a full realization of the mini-coursees, all of which are adverse to the future of the students and the post completion.Fifth, The subj ects do not at tach much importance to t he access to the physical e ducation mini-coursees. They are confronted with the problems such as the inaccurate timing and the unfamiliar teaching processes.Sixth, The mini-course plays an important role in improving the students' teaching abilities but its promotion is not sufficient. Its social practice and application need to be further enlarged.Suggestions are put forward as follows:First, Different physical education colleges can open up various min-classes and help students to practice mini-courses individually. The mini-course contributes a lot to the theory teaching and technical teaching. The physical education colleges can improve, plan and arrange the curriculum based on their development and goals. By doing this the students' teaching ability can be improved.Second, Physical education colleges are suppose d to build platforms for students to participate in activities to enhance the organization management and to ensure the quality of the internship.Third, The mini-course can increase the frequency of students practicing chances and train the students' teaching ability.Fourth, To help students improve the teaching concepts and trainings, more videos and data should be collected should be paid attention to. The students are supposed to master the mini-course techniques and do more practices with the help of the teachers and classmates.Fifth, More methods are recommended to promote the influence and importance of the mini-course so as to enlarge its applied fields. By building up the websites about the mini-course, the teaching ability can be improved.
