Study On The Current Teaching Situation Of The Specialized Table Tennis Course Of The Major Of Sports Training In The Universities Of Henan Province

Physical education is the most important part of the high school education and it is also the important part of the competence education. It can improve the constitution of students, train the competition consciousness and the team spirit. Other subjects can do such things like physical education. The major of sports training is a pillar of the field of higher education. It improve the quality of coaches, athletes, team stability and make a significant contribution to promote the sports performance.The table tennis is the important part in the major of sports training. It trains lots of teachers and coaches for high schools and middle schools of our country and it is also the main subject to inherit the traditional culture and the basic skills of table tennis. For now, there are lots of questions in the major of sports training in the high school of Henan province. And the ITTF make some reform of the ball's size. According to the current situation, teaching the new theory and skills to student, make them adapt to the new rules and teaching method is the primary task. Improving the teaching quality of the major of sports training of table tennis is the main target to train the professional talents of table tennis for our country.The study is using literature method, survey method, questionnaire survey method, interview method and mathematics statistics method to analysis the facilities of the venue, present situation of teachers, students' learning situation, the teaching materials, the content of courses, teaching methods and the teaching organization form of the major of sports training of table tennis in the high school of Henan. Using the data to find the current questions. And then combine the principles of teaching and the actual situations of education reform to improve the major of sports training of table tennis in Henan Province. Then put forward some reform strategy and suggestions. The main conclusion is below:(1) The facilities of the venue in the universities of Henan Province is not perfect enough.(2) The universities of Henan province do not pay attention in the re-study of the teachers. The overall level of the teachers is high and they are all have deep love for the teaching work. The education background, the title and the seniority are reasonable.(3) The students of major of sports training of table tennis have interests in table tennis. The basic skills of table tennis is solid but lack of theoretical knowledge.(4) The teaching materials is unified, mainly about the technology and tactics but lack of psychological content. And the materials also contains the new size of the ping-pong ball.(5) The teaching plan and the content of the courses is single. The courses requires mainly about the technology but not theoretical knowledge.(6) The teaching method is single. Most of the teaching method is based on the technology which affect the students' imagination.(7) The universities in Henan province pay much attentions on the technology part of the major of sports training. They pay less attention on the assessment of theory and practice.(8) The students are satisfied with the courses but not satisfied with the venue. The venue have time limited and can not practice without the teachers' permission which reduce the training initiative.The suggestion is below:(1) The leader of the universities should pay much attention on the venue which includes building, managing and repairing. Optimizing resource allocation and the usage rate.(2) Using different ways to let the teachers get a re-study, including organizing some teaching course for the teachers, having training in the clubs and holding some expert lectures.(3) Pay much attention on the teaching of theoretical knowledge. It helps students to improve their comprehensive ability.(4) Increase some psychological content in the teaching materials.(5) Appropriate adjustment some course according to the teaching plan.(6) The teachers should make new teaching method, combine the theory and practice together, so that the students can learn the courses much easier.(7) Set up a set of scoring system for the major of sports training of table tennis in Henan province as soon as possible.(8) Using the extra time to optimize the teaching content for the course. Consolidate the theory and the new knowledge of table tennis to improve the teaching efficiency.
