On The Cultivation Of Young Teachers' Socialist Core Values In Chinese Colleges And Universities

In recent years, along with the tortuous development of world multi-polarization and economic globalization, and profound changing international situation, China, as a newly rising oriental great power, is striving to promote its transitional social development and the great rejuvenation of the country, so as to contribute to form a new pattern of world structure. Considering the complex international and domestic environment, the Report of the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed that the construction of the socialist core value system should be strengthened. The socialist core value system, now, is the soul to rejuvenating this country, which determines the development orientation of socialism with its characteristics in China, and it is also the ideological guarantee for the great rejuvenation of China.A powerful nation depends on its prosperous education and resourceful teachers leads to educational prosperity. Teachers are the key to promoting education reform and development of a country, the main force to promote national economic construction and social development, and the relying power to explore and spreading the socialist core values. In 2013, the CPC Central Committee issued the document On the Cultivation and Practice of the Socialist Core Values and stressed the necessity and importance to cultivate high-quality teachers with noble socialist morality and great professional skills of. Young teachers in Colleges and universities as a booming force in higher education and the institutions have a wide influence on student cultivation and cultural dissemination. Young teachers in Colleges and universities undertake an important mission in reintegrating the cultivation and practice of the socialist core values into the whole of national education. Cultivation and practice of the socialist core values for young teachers is not only the basic requirement to cultivate the moral self and strengthen morality education, but also the fundamental demand for higher education institution to provide satisfactory educational service. To instruct and foster students the morally sound values and outlook on the world and life,and to make them to take a positive role in promoting the construction of the socialist core values, the mission falls on young teachers in college. Therefore, it becomes very urgent to explore cultivation of young teachers' socialist core values in Colleges and universities.In the paper, the previous researches on cultivation of young teachers' socialist core values have been synthesized and analyzed, so as to master the theoretical frontier and trend on purpose to provide a theoretical foundation for the research on cultivation of young teachers' socialist core values in Chinese colleges. Based on analyzing theeducation theory and the urgency to cultivate young teachers' socialist core values in Chinese colleges, the research put forward the training strategies as follows: firstly,systematically providing theoretical education on socialist core values for college young teachers; then, giving them education on the fine traditional Chinese culture,ideals and beliefs; improving and innovating teaching methods, probing theoretical devices, putting the theory into colorful practices, and carrying out academic exchanges and cooperation with colleges at home and abroad; finally establishing and improving the long-term mechanism in terms of cultivation of young teachers' socialist core values in Chinese Colleges and Universities.
