With the implement of the “Specially contracted teachers Scheme" and growing numbers of these teachers, "teachers in special post" have been accepted more and more attention. In recent years, the drain of teacher resources has become a serious problem, the development of rural compulsory education has been greatly affected. Therefore, the study for the professional identity of teachers in special post aimed at stabilizing the rural teachers, raising the level of rural compulsory education. This study investigated 240 teachers from four different counties of Henan Province, by means of questionnaire and interview, to get the present condition and differences between their professional identity, Summarize the main factors, put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, and hope to improve the rural teachers professional identity, stabilize the teachers' team, balance the development of urban and rural education.Through surveys and analysis of questionnaire, the average score of current rural teachers' professional identity in Henan is 3.48, slightly biased in the middle level on the various dimensions of professional identity, in addition to the treatment of occupational dimension scores below the threshold(M = 3), the rest of each dimension scores were higher than the critical value(M = 3), we can see that the majority of teachers' professional identity are not high. Additionally, the professional identity of teachers in special post exist significant differences in gender, education, location and so on, the result is: Female teachers' professional identity are higher than males'; Three-year college degree teachers' are higher than bachelor and master degree teachers, the teachers in counties are higher than the teachers in countrysides and towns.According to interviews and questionnaires, this paper summed up the four main factors: First, national policy factors, including the salaries benefits and policy and legal protection; second, current school factors, including teacher training system is imperfect, teaching work unreasonable and psychological care for teachers in special post is not in place; third, social factors, including the social environmental impact and evaluation by others; fourth, personal factors, including the individual's career motivation, personal career planning and personal problems solved.For the main factors of affecting the special post teachers' professional identity, we put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, including: in terms of policy, to increase wages, to expand policy, to improve the recruitment system and security mechanism; in terms of school, to strengthen teacher training, to improve school conditions, to focus on the teachers care; in terms of society, to change the traditional concept and broaden social financing ways, to build social supportive networks; in terms of teacher themselves, they should maintain an optimistic attitude, establish the correct professional values, actively learning, and make a great personal career planning.
