With the rapid development of the times,Technology has gradually become an increasingly important part of life.Our life is surrounded by the technology.Our basic necessities of life are closely related to technology.More than personal life,the development of individuals as well as social progress is inseparable from the support of technology.It can be said that technology defines a society or an era,such as Stone Age,Bronze Age and IT Times.At the same time,social progress is also an urgent need to upgrade the technology literacy of every citizen.As for the current education,people pay too much attention to knowledge and the cultivation scientific literacy,while ignoring the technological of equal importance.Chemistry contains the Science and Technology in itself.However,technology literacy in chemical textbook now can't be completely discovered.In the high school chemistry compulsory phase,students not only need to learn the necessary knowledge of chemistry,but also need to form chemical thought and have the technology literacy.Regardless of whether the student engaged of the profession chemistry in the future,it is really important to use the technical thought to think and solve the problem in the life about the technology.This essay is based on the technology literacy research about why train the technology literacy in basic education stage and how to train students to have technology literacy in middle school chemistry curriculum effectively.Through researching and analyzing of compulsory high school chemistry textbook,this essay tries to integrate technology literacy into the design of chemistry teaching,for developing the students' technological literacy.Only by this way,students can grow to the fullest extent and integrate this highly technical society.First,the essay introduces the reason of choosing this topic,the purpose and significance of the study,literature review of related research at home and abroad as well as the problems and methods in this paper.Then,the essay defines the core concept of technology,literacy,technological literacy,technology education,and the four elements of technological literacy which are technical knowledge,technical ability,the technological thought and method,and technical rationality to carry on the elaboration,technology literacy of middle school stage of culture connotation etc.This chapter laid the theoretical foundation of the whole article.Based on that,the essay carries out the questionnaire survey to the senior high school chemistry teacher,in order to grasp the present situation that the current chemistry teacher how to raise the student technology accomplishment.In view of such present situation,the essay analyzes China's general high school chemistry curriculum standards and the current high school compulsory chemistry textbooks,in the view of the four elements of the technical composition.Finally,the teaching content of technical literacy in PEP is selected to be analyzed and make the corresponding teaching design.Through investigation and research,we can get the improvement of the research on the cultivation of the current technology literacy and analyze and reflect the problems existing in the research.Then making a prospect about the future on articles related cultivating student's technology literacy.
