With the rapid development of the times and the continuous advancement of science and technology, society also has higher requirements for mankind, and the country urgently needs a large number of talents.Of course, education is the country's major plan.If we want to improve the quality of education,we must constantly update the teaching mode and methods. The chemistry curriculum standard of senior high school(experimental draft)formulated in 2003 [referred to as ‘2003 curriculum standard'for short] has been accompanied by the education and teaching career of our country for more than ten years. After long-term teaching and exploration,front-line teachers are familiar with the curriculum standard, and at the same time, they have summed up a lot of corresponding rich teaching experience. In this rapid development of science and technology, economic society, the curriculum standards are far from being met.In the face of the development of the new era,the Ministry of education put forward the new requirements of ‘improving the quality of all citizens and the quality of talent training'.In 2013,the Ministry of Education launched the work of curriculum revision of general high school. After four years of unremitting efforts,China published a revised version of the general high school chemistry curriculum standard in 2017[‘2017 curriculum standard for short'),and began to gradually implement it in the provinces in the autumn of 2018,which marks a great breakthrough and improvement in China's education. At the same time,in order to comply with the new curriculum standards, the textbooks of middle school students also need to be changed accordingly. After the unremitting efforts of experts, the textbooks of various subjects were finally printed and distributed in 2019,and the comprehensive new curriculum reform in all provinces began. In the face of new textbooks that are coming and unfamiliar,front-line teachers have a lot of concerns. They need to be familiar with the arrangement and content of the new textbooks quickly. They need to come up with the teaching schedule and arrangement of the new textbooks as soon as possible, and even make careful preparations for each class, which is very helpless for them.In this way, students can adapt to the study of new teaching materials under the new curriculum standard faster,so that students can adapt to the reform of curriculum standard better, and also show the good side of the new curriculum reform.Based on this situation, the author combines his own analysis of the new teaching materials and several years of teaching experience to analyze the two compulsory contents of the new high school chemistry teaching materials in detail, and make corresponding comparison with the old teaching materials, hoping to give some help to front-line teachers and readers who need to understand the new teaching materials. This research mainly includes five parts:The first part is the introduction, which summarizes the background of the research, the understanding of the background of curriculum standard reform in China and the comparative analysis and research of foreign textbooks,so as to clarify the purpose and significance of the research and find the right research methods. The second part is to compare the requirements of Compulsory Chemistry content in the 2003 and 2017 curriculum standards. It can intuitively clarify the similarities and differences between the new and old textbooks from the requirements of curriculum standards,as well as the characteristics of the new textbooks after changes. The third part is the comparison of the new and old textbooks, including the differences and similarities in content layout, content selection and content organization,as well as the characteristics of the new textbooks after the change. The fourth part is through the comparative analysis of the new and old teaching materials, the new teaching materials in practice.Through the author's research,I hope to provide beneficial help to the front-line teachers in practical teaching and quickly adapt to the reform of education in China. The fifth part is the summary and reflection of my research, and the shortcomings of this study are reflected and prospected.Through the detailed comparative analysis of the new and old teaching materials,it can be found that the new teaching materials are more reasonable in content layout design, follow the development of science and technology, reasonably delete knowledge in content selection, effectively reduce the difficulty of content, more logical in content organization, well apply the chemical characteristics of ‘position structure nature',and disperse the teaching difficulty, which is helpful to students' understanding of chemistry study.According to the author's comparative study of the contents of the new and old textbooks, this paper provides some shallow suggestions for teachers and students who are or will be using the new textbooks:No1.Teachers need sufficient electricity to fully understand the new chemical technology terms and events involved in the new textbook.No2.Teachers also need to improve their teaching ability. It is necessary for a qualified teacher to have good professional skills.No3.Students should have a correct understanding of the new curriculum reform and actively meet the new college entrance examination.No4.Students should find the way to study the new curriculum reform textbook as soon as possible.
