With the promotion of new fundamental educational reform,the development and utilization of curriculum resource has attracted the attention of people all over the society.It is deeply believed that various curriculum resources are the precondition of application of the new curriculum.Without support of curriculum resource the most elaborate project can hardly be turned into the actual teaching activities.At the same time,the development and utilization of curriculum resource is of great significance to transforming the curriculum function and students' learning style,and promoting teachers' development.Only chemistry curriculum resource enters into the scene of curriculum application and involves the students' learning process can it ultimately embody the value and significance of chemistry curriculum resource.Faced with various curriculum resources teachers should reflect whether the selected curriculum resource is fit for the trait of chemistry teaching.The cultivation of students' scientific literacy is the developmental tendency of the basic education reform in the world and the fundamental goal of the Eighth Basic Education Curriculum Reform,which is carried out in our country.Therefore to developand improve the chemical literacy,which is a crucial part of scientific literacy,is urgentlyneeded.Moreover,it is an essential task of the chemistry teaching.At present,the cultivation of citizens' chemical literacy has become the important content of high school chemistry education.The research is to explore the cultivation of citizens' chemical literacy in the curriculum development.The research investigates the middle school students from the historical knowledge,life skills and basic knowledge of chemistry and the production to know current status of the cultivation of the middle school chemistry accomplishment.The research finds that middle school chemistry teacher has made some achievements,but also faces a lot of shortcomings.According to the surveys,the research puts forward the methods to improve middle school students' citizen chemical literacy.In the chemistry history knowledge,there are 3 measures.(1)The chemical history value is paid attention(2)The student point of interest is knew about.(3)The teaching efficiency of chemists story is paid attention.In the life application of chemical knowledge skills,there are 4 measures.(1)The student as the center is taken.(2)T he application of chemical knowledge guidance is strengthened.(3)The cooperative learning in curriculum resources development is used.(4)The teaching of chemical life application skills of material input is done.In terms of chemistry and production,there are 2 measures.(1)Teaching platform is extent.(2)The cooperation with chemical production enterprises is strengthened.In terms of basic knowledge of chemical literacy,there are 4 measures.(1)The teaching of basic knowledge is focused on.(2)The adopting scientific teaching methods is need.(3)The teacher's teaching ability is promoted.The from the lack of chemical literacy of citizens,the shortage of the traditional chemistry teaching,new curriculum teaching idea of using questionnaires to analyze the middle-school student citizen chemical literacy,efforts to explore the cultivation and improvement of chemical literacy of students some practical teaching strategy,and has carried on the positive research.
