Research On The Tourism Development Influence On The Social Role Of Female Residents

With the economic development and the accelerated pace of life, more and more people escape from the crowded city to embrace the nature in their leisure time. Mountain tourism and rural tourism are preferred by the majority of people, which makes the tourism industry develop in these poor areas to some extent. Henan is a large province of agriculture and tourism, rural tourism is one of the best ways to develop the vast poverty-stricken areas in Henan, especially for the poor mountainous areas. Rural tourism and poverty alleviation based on ecological compensation is also an important part of the national poverty alleviation strategy.The female is “half the sky” of the family. Female residents not only play an important role in the tourism development and family income, directly affecting the local tourism operation, carrying the tourism destination image, tourist attractions and other multiple identities, but also in the family structure and children's education and so on. But at the same time, influenced by the traditional concept, division of labor and investment in education and other factors, female residents is in the inferior position in the family economy, education, marriage, often “neglected” and having little “voice”. They need help from the society and the country seriously, also should be the study subject of tourism influence on local residents. Therefore, the tourism influence on female residents has gradually attracted the attention of scholars in recent years.Based on the change role of female in society as perspective and the rural female residents as the research object, via investigation of the residents' perception, this paper is to explore tourism development impact on female's self-improvement and self-development. Taking female residents of the most representative state-level poverty-stricken counties in Luanchuan area as research object, this thesis explores the influence of tourism development on tourist destination female residents of social role change and problems from the empirical research of concept of career, marriage, family economic role, family status, fertility concept, the concept of education and social role changes of the tourism development of female residents in tourist destinationIt is concluded that the impact of tourism development on social role change of female residents is mainly in the following aspects: 1. social roles varied from single to diversified; 2. occupational choices changed from the idea to the category; 3. dowry customs and female's love and marriage view has changed; 4. changed fertility concept-from the male child only to the equality of male and female; 5. the profoundly changed concept of education; 6. coexisted conflict of women's happiness and the pain of social role.
