A Research On The Promotion Of Tourism Development To Subjective Well-being Of Residents In Ethnic Tourism Area

The pursuit of happiness is the goal of common human life.Subjective well-being based on positive emotions is "people-oriented" concept in psychology,which is a important comprehensive index to measure people's life quality.In the context of rapid economic development and social progress,improving tourism destination residents' happiness degree restricts the sustainable development of tourism.Only tourism destination residents have positive psychological health,the service quality of local residents can be improved,which finally promotes the healthy sustainable development of tourism.Feng Xiangpo is a Dong ethnicity settlement.Promoting the subjective well-being of ethnic minority residents are beneficial to maintain social justice as well as promote national unity and social stability,which is an important issue that building a harmonious society may faces.Based on the subject well-being theory as the breakthrough point and the residents of Feng Xiangpo in Enshi as the research object,the author has send 192 questionnaire.Firstly,Through reading the literature of tourist destination residents and the theoretical study of subjective well-being,the author established the influence factors of destination residents'subjective well-being:Residents' personal characteristics,Economic situation,Social support,Cultural identity,Policy guarantee and Social environment.Secendly,this study uses the factor analysis,Independent-Sample Test,analysis of variance and correlation analysis,to assess the effect factors of tourism destination resident on subjective well-being.The author put forward five kinds of factors that influenced the subjective well-being of residents in Feng Xiangpo:Residents' personal characteristics,Economic situation,Social support,Cultural identity and Policy guarantee.Then,the study uses multiple regression analysis to explore all kinds of factors on the influence degree of the tourism destination residents'subject well-being.This study has the certain reference significance to help the government make the right social policies,set up the perfection of the legislation and inspire the related departments pay more attention to residents' subjective well-being.The results of this study show that the subjective well-being of residents in Feng Xiangpo lies in the medium level in general.Firstly,of the residents' personal characteristics,monthly income and the type of the job have significant influences,the others such as gender,age,cultural level,place of birth,living years,and the attitude to tourism have no influences;Secondly,Economic situation and Cultural identity have a positive impact on subject well-being;Thirdly,Social support and Policy guarantee have a positive impact on the residents' subject well-being;Finally,Social environment has no significant effect.For this,this study put forward the countermeasures:Developing participatory tourism,promoting material happiness;Building livable green community,promoting green happiness;Enhancing the cultural identity,building spiritual happiness;Developing the people's livelihood type of policy guarantee system,promoting equal happiness.Innovation point of this article:first,This article put the mature theory--subjective well-being into new fields,add the domestic research on tourism destination residents.Second,This study takes Feng Xiangpo as an example,tries to research a small minority tourist destination,which explores whether the impacts of tourism and their subjective well-being will be different.
