A Research On Education Problems Of The Left-behind Children In Rural Area

With the development of Chinese economy and urbanization,a great quantity of labor in rural area are moving to cities and other more developed regions.Thus,a lot of Rural left-behind children come into being.In the past few years,left-behind children's education problem has getting more and more serious,which we must pay attention and find a way to solve it as soon as possible.I visited Sinan county in Guizhou province and did some research,and I found that most of the left-behind children hate to study and they do not behave themselves.I summarized three main reasons.First of all,rural left-behind children usually live with their grandparents or other relatives and they do not have enough time to get along with their parents who have to leave home to make money,which makes them lack of parents' love.Besides,grandparents or relatives usually spoil them for some reasons.Secondly,schools in rural area are not working well.These schools are lack of good teachers and necessary teaching facility.Thirdly,the surrounding of the places where they live is not optimistic.I provide several solutions from 5 aspects----the Chinese government,the schools,family,the society and the social work.I think the fundamental reason for rural left-behind children's education problem is the economical unbalance in China and hukou system is the direct reason.The government should make good use of its power to support rural economy,and change the hukou system to reduce the gap between cities and the countries;the school should improve their education ability;parents should pay attention to the communication with their children to make them feel their love.Besides,parents should also teach their children to behave themselves and do good things;the society should realize the education problem and people should fight against it together by build up a mechanism to help provide a healthy surrounding for left_behind children;social workers should provide help in children's study,family and society and make sure that the children can develop themselves in a good way.
