Research On The Cultivation Of Pupils' Ecological Moral Will Quality

The increasing deterioration of the ecological environment and the growing ecological crisis make people around the world realize the importance of ecological moral education. Over the years, we have made great efforts on ecological moral education, and have made great progress. However, for a long time, our ecological moral education is focused more on pupils' ecological moral cognition and emotions, neglecting the cultivation of ecological moral will, which is the tie among ecological moral cognition, emotion and behavior. The neglecting has largely affected the effect of ecological moral education. Based on this, the writer study the cultivation of ecological moral will, in order to break the traditional three-dimensional ecological moral education mode of “coginition-motion-behavior”. Meanwhile, the pupils' thought and psychology is still in the preliminary stage of development, with strong plasticity. In this stage, cultivating their ecological moral will consciously, can affect the formation of their ecological moral personality greatly. Therefore, the author take the primary school students as the main body of the study, making deep thinking and research on pupils' ecological moral will.Starting from the theory of ecological moral will, the author analyzes and sorts out the concept and connotation of will, will quality and ecological morality, expounds the concept, content and function of ecological moral will, and establishes the theoretical support of Marx's theory of practice will and ecological ethics. This research deeply inquiries the students' current situation of the ecological moral will among the surveyed schools and the proceeding situation of ecological moral will in the surveyed schools, through the questionnaire survey of the students and the interview of teachers from three primary schools in Henan province. Then the writer makes a related analysis of the survey data by SPSS, finding that integral level of ecological moral will among the surveyed students is not good and their score in the aspect of consciousness is higher than that in the aspects of self-control, decisiveness and tenacity, which are different among students from different grades and genders. From the survey, the writer also finds that the education of ecological moral will in the surveyed schools exists some questions, such as the lack of value on the cultivation of ecological moral will, the shortage of specialized teachers, and so on.Combined with the problems found in the questionnaire survey and the connotation of ecological moral will and the related theory, the author starts from the content and method of ecological moral will, thinks about the related countermeasures, and puts forward the following aspects to cultivate pupils' ecological moral will: strengthening the training of teachers and improving the quality of teachers' ecological moral education; improving pupils' ecological moral cognition and cultivating their ecological moral emotion, helping them establish ecological moral ideals; combining self-discipline and heteronomy, promoting the formation of students' self discipline quality; allying school and out-school, cultivating pupils' ability of acting decisively in practice; giving priority to setback education, supplementing with means of encouragement, enhancing students' ability of resisting setback, and chastening their tough ecological moral will.
