The Study On High School Physics Micro-Course Design Under The MOOC Environment

With the development of technology, our society advanced increasingly. In this situation, our life styles as well as learning styles are always in a constant state of change. The importance of lifelong learning has been increasingly emphasized, the times required us to continue learning. Therefore, the micro-lectures and MOOC came into being, becoming the leading role in the education field today. MOOC based on the internet, make it easier for us to study in this modern society, bring us more self-development as the same time. While the micro-lectures has also been placed in the limelight in today's education,because of its obvious merits.In my study, I firstly defined the concepts of MOOC and micro-lectures, using the literature analysis. Secondly I summarized the current academic research status of MOOC and micro-lectures. I found that, the number of research on MOOC and micro-lectures in our country is increasing quickly,especially in recent years, which can prove that, MOOC and micro-lectures are receiving more and more attentions from our scholars. However, the study on the micro-lectures in the MOOC environment was still very scarce, especially the extracurricular network resources for high school students. Under this background, I'd like to try whether I can implement the senior high school physics domain under the MOOC in a micro-lectures form, so I can make up the limitations of the classroom teaching, and also proposes a new way of the physics teaching of the senior high school.So I made a further research on the micro-lectures. Through reading and analyzing the relevant papers, I made distinctions between micro-lectures and its related similar concepts. On the basis of defining the concept of micro-lectures, I analyzed the characteristics, composition and classification of micro-lectures, then tried to make high school physics become micro-lectures. After analysis the feasibility of micro courses with high school physics curriculum, I analyzed two MOOC platforms: Coursera and edX.Under the analysis of two typical courses in Coursera and edX, I summaried the design principles and design pattern of them, then I tried to build a micro course of high school physics under the MOOC environment. At the same time, combined with the analysis of case and papers research, I finally designed the page layout forms as well as the design template of the micro course of high school physics under the MOOC environment, and took the Newton motion laws as examples, realized the micro course of highschool physics under the MOOC environment.The contribution of my study are as follows: firstly design the high school physics in the MOOC environment, enriched extracurricular resources for high school students to study; make up for the limitations of classroom teaching; put forward the new method of physics teaching in senior middle school;make up for the high school physics in a MOOC environment at the same time. Secondly, the design templates and design pattern of the micro course of high school physics under the MOOC environment can give teachers some guidance when they are design relevant courses.
