With the rapid development of modern society, the comprehensive quality of comprehensive development and innovative talents demand is higher and higher, however, the basis of traditional education and the teaching method is not suitable for the needs of the development of modern education,more can't meet the need of modern personnel training.The Ministry of Education promulgated the basic education curriculun reform outline change the course emphasis deeply on the implementation and the passive learning memory hard traditional teaching mode of mechanica training.advocated students study with active partivipation,active exploration, autonomous learning training students the ability to collect and process information of the problem, the ability to obtain new knowledge analysis and solve problems,communication and cooperation.In the context of new course reform. the teaching method of discussion is the embodiment of modern education idea,it is a way which trains the cultiveation of innovative talents with open thinking. The method of discussion teaching according to the concept of people-oriented,student-centered,with full respect for the dominant position of the students. To guide learning of students initiative and Consciousness.cultivated students ability of applying the combination of theory and practice,and the spirit of innovation.it changes the traditional teaching mode with spoon-feeding. to provide a good envirnment learning for students and teaching to communicate with each other. it is truely becoming harmonious development of teaching and learning.The paper is divided into five parts: the first part is by searching the literature. it mainly discusses the teaching methods at all times and in all countries,to discuss the different expression of teaching method.Research present situation, summarized by literature review, an overview of previous research on the teaching method of discussion in the dirction the second part: firstly,the connotation of teaching method,the teaching metod of discussion of definition. secondly, from the teoretical basis of the research teaching method, learning theory,teaching theory, finally, by discussing the necessity of teaching method,the focus is the need of educational refrom, the purpose of education, to train the students and to study initiativel,dare to explore and innovate.the third part: mainly analyzes the role of discussionteaching method in ideological and political course in middle school, it changes the traditional teaching concept means that new ideas are open, and conform to the requirement of the new its role is to make class resources richful contributes to the cultivation of innovative thinking, contribute to the establishment of a harmoni relationship between teachers and students. to make students are developing on the overall social. the four part: mainly discusses how to use the discussion teaching method in ideological and political students can get the maximum benefit from the knowledge, at the same time, the high requirments for teachers on the overall quality requirments for students on preparing knowledge, high requirments for the teaching and learning of quality. they decide to the effect of the method of discussion teaching. the fifth part: the discussion of teaching in the middle school thought political use while it needs to pay attention to some problems. the idea of students learning are needed to change. the traditional teaching idea of teachers are needed to change, improving comprehensive skills of teaching for whole class.Through the research, hoping the discussion teaching methd to effective application in teaching,gradually train students to become the talents apply for the modern society, developing the students careative thinking, and to adapt to the new social competition market of talent.
