"Education should be for the development of each child, for the renaissance of the Chinese nation" is a powerful call that our country's Elementary Education Reform is sending out nowadays. In the new round foundation Elementary Education Reform, with the modern educational principle of "student-based" teaching concept, the new curriculum standard strongly calls for students' ability of independent thinking ,independent inquiring, personal experience, active participation, cooperative learning, innovation consciousness etc. Thus, inquiring study will become the key point of students' active learning and this necessarily will further push forward the all-around carrying out of our country's quality education.But, the present elementary education condition of our country is not at all satisfying. With the classroom teaching and the practical applications separated from each other, teaching methods too unified, the induction of the knowledge limited in mechanic replication and students only knowing how to answer but not how to raise questions , our students are really taught into ones who can only achieve middle scores but have a low ability and who are lack in creative ability. Political lesson teaching in middle schools also has become the focus of reform because of its "theories infusion" , "mechanical memorizing" and "being too abstract and lifeless" . What self-learning style should the political classroom provide to our students? What a guiding role should teachers play in teaching and learning? All the political teachers need to think over all the questions like these. For this, this article intends to integrate political lessons in middle school with problem-based learning style and tries to set up a set of "inquiring teaching mode based on problems under the new course principle" and carry on an initial quest about it from two levels of theories and fulfillment.This article is divided into four parts. The first part analyzes the background of setting up the new mode of political lesson in middle school. From the angle of pushing forward quality education, carrying out curriculum reform, improving the teaching method and adapting to the situation development, it Mainly elaborates that to set up a new mold forpolitical lessons in middle school is the requirement of new education view, new courses view, new teaching view and the development of this subject. The second part introspects to the traditional teaching mode of political lesson in middle school. It Mainly analyzes the content, history, classroom characteristics and evaluation characteristics of the traditional political lesson teaching mode of "Induction-Accept" and indicates the incorrectness of this mode in relation to students-centered teaching concept. Finally, this part takes a skeptical attitude towards the predominant status of this mode in political classes. The third part is a textual point, it is about how to integrate political lessons in middle school with problem-based learning style. It first gives a brief introduction of the basic content and characteristics of problem-based learning (PBL) and then describes the formation of PBL, which mainly includes theory basis, content, characteristics, fulfillment tasks, fulfillment requirement and channel ,basic process and value analyze of using PBL in political lesson in middle school. The fourth part puts forward some relevant open problems: how to make clear some pairs of relationship of inquiring learning in political lesson in middle school ;the analysis of the difficulty of inquiring learning in political lesson in middle school ; the necessity to push the course reform by carrying out political lessons in continuously practicing new teaching mode.As a new mode of information age teaching, inquiring learning based on problems in political lessons is only on the first stage and there remains much to be deeply studied. So, how to practically connect the new kind of teaching method with the current course reform and constantly examine, revise and perfect it still calls for all the political teachers to join hands and work together.
