Ethnic Identity And The Research On Kwangsi Minority Migrant Children’s Social Integration

China is a multi-ethnic country, in Guangxi and other ethnic minority autonomous regions urban communities, the current status and affecting factors of ethnic minority migrant children social integration are more complicated. The issues on ethnic identity and social integration of ethnic minority migrant children is a cross discipline of demography, sociology and Ethnology. In the field of demography, sociology, the existing research on the influencing factors of social integration is concentrated in population, institution, family, community and individual psychological characteristics,etc. In the field of Ethnology, the current research on ethnic identity pays little attentions to its social consequences. Therefore, we use the survey data of Guangxi,Nanning and other cities as the research sample, based on the perspective of multiculturalism, to explore the impact of ethnic identity factors on social integration of minority migrant children. The study found that ethnic identity has a certain impact on the urban social integration of minority migrant children in Guangxi. Meanwhile, in addition to the direct effect, there are some indirect interaction mechanism of intermediary variables.
