Since the reform and opening up,along with the development of the market economy and the acceleration of the urbanization process,a large number of rural migrant workers have continuously flooded into the city,injecting new vitality into the development of the city.In the process of population migration,family migration has gradually become the main trend of population mobility.As an important part of the floating population,the number of migrant children in cities is also rising.Compared with the general community,the W community in Qilihe District of Lanzhou City is characterized significantly because of the population agglomeration of ethnic minorities(Dongxiang and Hui).They live around the temple and believe in Islam,and they help each other based on common national culture.The minority ethnic minority migrants in the W community are mostly young and middle-aged labors from Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture in Gansu Province.They lacked the necessary labor skills and were paralyzed in urban marginal communities.The acquaintance’s social life style makes the children lack communication with the outside world after entering the city,and the social support system is weak.The crowded living environment,weak educational awareness and poor family communication have exacerbated children’s educational difficulties.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the education of ethnic minority mobile children.This paper collects data through field observations,questionnaires,and interviews to gain insights into the educational status of ethnic minority migrant children in the W community of qilihe district of lanzhou city.Through case studies and field visits,it was found that ethnic minority migrant children are faced with three problems: lack of motivation in education,incomplete pre-school education,limited parental time,insufficient educational ability and insufficient effective utilization of community education resources.Based on the theory of ecosystem,the dissertation analyzes the causes of the educational problems of the floatingchildren of ethnic minorities from the four levels of individuals,families,schools,and communities.The author starts from the individual case work,conducts appropriate universal children’s theme education activities in a timely manner,and builds a multi-dimensional education support network for migrant children of ethnic minorities.In addition,specific Suggestions on improving education in mobile children are put forward,raising education awareness of children,broadening family education support,enhancing education care in schools and enhancing education publicity in the community and advocating for the promotion of national education were included.To guarantee the rights of minority migrant children to education,improve their comprehensive quality and integrate them into urban life better and faster.
