Employment difficulty of college graduates has become an indisputable fact in modern society. More and more university graduates take part in the postgraduate entrance exam resolutely and determinedly, in order to alleviate employment pressure and find a good job.More and more college student choose interdisciplinary graduate under the drive of the objective rationality action, especially in the liberal arts. With the increase of postgraduate enrollment, more and more students but limited educational resources result in a bad influence to postgraduate education, especially to the interdisciplinary postgraduates. How to improve the education of postgraduates, especially the education of interdisciplinary postgraduate has become a problem. The identification of the cross major is the most important thing to interdisciplinary postgraduate. It will affect triennial learning state of graduate student. Professional identity will come up different changes in different learning stages, which will bring positive or negative influence. Understanding the changes of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity has important significance for improving their ability, learning enthusiasm and learning efficiency, in the standing of school.Therefore, this thesis mainly discusses three questions:(1) How do interdisciplinary postgraduates think of their cross major?(2) What are the changes of professional identity between interdisciplinary postgraduates in different grade?(3) Why does the interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity make changes?In order to solve the above problems, the main contents of this research are as follows.Firstly, format the measurement scale and questionnaire. Test the preliminary questionnaire scale by extreme grouping method, correlation analysis and factor analysis, excluding questionnaire item with heterogeneity higher, extraction factors, form the formal questionnaire, and analysis reliability and validity for the formal questionnaire, results show that the questionnaire has good validity and reliability. Secondly, collect data by literature method, interview method and questionnaire survey method. This paper adopt respondents to push sampling to extract sample, investigated 220 liberal arts interdisciplinary postgraduate in X university. Finally, analyze interdisciplinary postgraduate professional identity by independent sample t-test and single factor variance analysis method, including difference analysis and longitudinal comparative analysis. Analyze the factor impact on theinterdisciplinary postgraduate professional identity.The conclusions of research are as follows: There is a low level of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity. Weak emotion to cross major, insufficient learning motivation and lack of learning enthusiasm are the main performance. Interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity has otherness in college level, disciplines span,professional choices, major and ever work experience; Interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity has otherness in gender, college level, disciplines span, professional choices and ever work experience in different grade. Interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity presents cyclical change characteristics in different learning stage.Professional emotion and professional behavior emerge first fall and then rise, professional cognitive increase year by year. “Individual factors” and “cultivate structure” influenced the changes of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity. And “professional social adaptability evaluation” don't influence the changes of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity. The largest impact for the changes of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity is “Individual factors”, “professional teaching environment” is the second and the last one is “professional interactive environment”. “professional resources allocation” don't influence the changes of interdisciplinary postgraduates' professional identity.
