With the increasing demanding of high-level talents development in knowledge economy society, the enrollment scale of postgraduate student constantly enlarged, accompanied by the professional identity problem of the postgraduate students. Professional identity is the premise of continuous learning and ability development of interdisciplinary Postgraduates. Therefore, it is necessary and meaningful to study the professional identity of interdisciplinary Postgraduates.This study is based on the self-edited questionnaire about professional identity of interdisciplinary postgraduates, adopting the method of cheap sampling to inquiry334interdisciplinary Postgraduates of four different universities in Nanjing, Southeast university, Nanjing normal university, Hohai university, Nanjing forestry university. The result shows that:1. Interdisciplinary graduate student professional identity can be divided into four dimensions which are professional learning engagement, professional emotionality, professional evaluation, and professional prospects commitment.2. Interdisciplinary Postgraduates professional identity total score and four dimensions scores are higher than the average level, it indicates that the professional identity of interdisciplinary Postgraduates is in the medium level. In demography variables, the interdisciplinary postgraduates exists different degree of significant differences in professional identity and each dimension.(1) In the different gender, professional identity of the interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in professional identity, professional emotionality and professional prospects commitmen;(2) In the different grade, professional identity of the interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in professional prospects commitment;(3) In different professional choice, professional identity of the interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in professional learning engagement, professional emotionality, professional evaluation, and professional prospects commitment;(4) In different tutor choice, professional identity of the interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in professional learning engagement, professional evaluation, and professional prospects commitment;(5) In different learning conditions, the professional identity of interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in professional identity, professional emotionality, professional evaluation and professional prospects commitment;(6) In different school levels, professional identity of the postgraduate exists significant differences in professional evaluation and professional prospects commitment;(7) In different current employment status, the professional identity of interdisciplinary postgraduate exists significant differences in the professional identity and all dimensions;(8) In different span of school levels, professional identity of the postgraduate exists significant differences in professional identity, professional learning engagement and professional evaluation;(9) In different span of current employment status, professional identity of the postgraduate exists significant differences in professional identity, professional learning engagement and professional prospects commitment;(10) In different span of interdisciplinary, professional identity of the "Arts-Arts","Science-Science" and "Science-Arts" postgraduate exists significant differences in "professional identity","professional learning engagement" and "professional prospects commitment".3. Professional choice, learning conditions, current employment status and different span of interdisciplinary exist significant differences in professional identity of "Arts-Arts" Postgraduates; Tutor choice, learning conditions, current employment status exist significant differences in professional identity of "Science-Science" postgraduates; Professional choice exists significant differences in professional identity of "Science-Arts" postgraduates.4. The factors which affect the professional identity of interdisciplinary postgraduates mainly including four aspects as individual factors, Professional external statement, influence from family and society, and study atmosphere.5. Suggestions:(1) improving the ability of self-capacity (2) better constructing the professional,creating a good learning atmosphere (3) improving the mechanism of employment, Strengthening the employment guidance (4) carrying out a targeted professional training in according to the difference among professional identity.
