The relationship between teaching and learning is the basic problem of teaching theory. The understanding of the relationship between teaching and learning affects the design of learning guides. From the perspective of history, the development of instructional design can be divided into four stages which includes teaching notes,teaching plans, learning plans and learning guides. The learning guides integrated the advantages of teaching plan and learning plan. Learning guides are not only teaching plans which are designed by teachers, but also the reorganization of the relationship between teaching and studying. It’s a revolution of the traditional classroom teaching model. Learning guides can not only help students to learn the knowledge, to solve problems and to develope ability, but also the carrier of the communication and cooperation between teachers and students. Learning guides design has the following value orientation, reflecting two-way interaction teaching; takeing care of the students’ life world; Based on the interaction between teachers and students; improving students’ knowledge construction.However, for the following reason, such as schools are lack of attention to the learning guides; the relationship between teachers and students are in the process of distortion; life world os students are forgot by teachers, there are some problems in the design of the learning guides. Teachers are lack of the correct cognition of learning guides.The learning guides are more of form than substance. Teachers ignore the life world of students and the communication between teachers and students. Foreign experience hasn’t been localized in teaching. Teachers are lack of professional guidance in the design of the learning guides.According to the above problems in the design of learning guide and based on the relevant educational theory, this study proposes the following suggestions on the basis of reflection. Students should be allowed to participate in the design of learning guides.Learning guides should pay attention to communications between teachers and students.and should be designed on the life world of students. Learning guides should be flexible to the actual teaching and should provide support for students to make activeconstruction. School should develope learning guides which have the characteristic of "school-based" and should be considered as a starting point of teachers’ professional development. The school should build a platform for teachers to design learning guides.
