Design And Application Of Interactive Micro Video In Network Curriculum

With the rapid development of network technology and multimedia, it has injected new vitality into education. It has become a new way of learning that learners absorb knowledge through Internet in the age of informationize education. As the main form of online education, network courses directly affect the effect of online education. Therefore, to design and develop network courses of high quality is a very important topic we are facing in the era of information technology education.Video resources have always been the major type of all the resources in network courses. However, the previous video resources take for a long time, what we can do is very limited and simple, such as start, pause, etc. Those operations have been unable to meet the needs in the era of fragmentation and the era of mobile learning. Thus, we need to choose some attractive resources of colorful expressions to replace the traditional video resources.In recent years, online open courses, qualified courses and MOOC has got people's attention. Among them, interactive micro-videos get much of the attention. Interactive micro-videos are not of imposing stature but dapper,so learners can be highly concentrated in a short time and can use them in the mobile system in order to facilitate the learners to learn anytime and anywhere; besides, traditional videos don't have the interactive function, so interactive micro-videos make up for the defects of traditional videos. The interactive design of interactive micro-video can stimulate learners' learning interests,help learners consolidate the learned knowledge, and test learners' learning level and give instant feedback which can meet learners' demands of information age. Interactive micro-videos are getting more and more attention. With the development of information technology, the application of interactive micro video will be more and more widely and it will be the focus of the era of information technology.After combing the related knowledge of the network courses "instructional system design", this study design and develop the course as interactive micro-videos. This study took senior students in Northwest Normal University who are major in educational technology as the object. At last,analyze the effect of the application of interactive micro-videos in the network course “instructional system design" through questionnaire survey. The following is the specific research process:First of all,this paper expounds research background,the research goal and the significance,the research mentality and the method,then through the inspection and sorting the relevant literature on the interaction of network courses research status, domestic and international interactive micro-videos are reviewed. Secondly,sort out the knowledge points which are suitable for interactive micro-videos in the network course "teaching system design". Design and develop those knowledge points in both teaching and interactive ways and develop them as interactive micro videos through the video editing software. Then give the research object one semester of network course teaching.At the end of the course, send out questionnaire survey and then analyze the data and analysis the effect of application of interactive micro video in the network courses and on learners' learning attitudes towards web-based courses. Through the research about the design and development of interactive micro video and its application in the network course, the following conclusions are summarized:(1)Diverse forms of interaction in micro video can improve the participation of learners;(2)The appropriate timing of interaction can improve the learning quality of the network course;(3)Interactive micro-videos, as a kind of resource type, can improve the learning interest of the learners.The conclusion of this study is to provide a reference for the use of interactive micro video network courses developers.
