The building of teaching staff in universities and colleges concerns whether the equalization and sustainable development of higher education can be achieved. How to more effectively and accurately recruit excellent talents in recruiting and introducing new teachers concerns whether sustainable development strategy can be effectively implemented. Teacher recruitment carried out by universities and colleges is aimed at meeting teacher quantity and the requirement on specific talents, while how to ensure the standardization of teacher recruitment mechanism, the upgrading of recruitment quality and the effectiveness of recruitment mode, are the important issues needed to be solved in teacher recruitment. In particular, the mode in carrying out interview to more accurately and effectively evaluate applicants is of particular significance in recruitment interview.On the basis of literature review, this paper systematically studied the application of interview assessment technology in teacher recruitment. It took Guangxi Y College as individual case, and carried out analysis on the status quo of its recruitment exercise. As to the problems of lacking scientific and reasonable human resources planning, lacking standardization in post demand info, single form in teacher recruitment and examination, relatively simpleness in recruitment measures, non scientific teacher selection standard and incomprehensive recruitment and assessment in recruitment exercise of Guangxi Y College, it analysed that the main causes are the continuous expansion of school running scale, shortage of human resources management, lacking of strong consciousness in human resources concept and the limitation of social environment, etc. As structured interview has the characteristics of interviewing examiners, evaluation factors, evaluation standard and structured interview procedures, on such basis, this paper proposed the application concept of structured interview in teacher recruitment of Guangxi Y College. Moreover, it built the structured interview system of Guangxi Y College from the aspects of analysing recruitment post, defining assessment elements, designing interview problems and defining assessment standards, etc. It also emphasized that several aspects should be paid attention to in the concrete implementation process, i.e. Interviewing the composition of leaders organization, organizing interviewer database, training interviewers, formulating interview procedures, compiling interview question database and setting the rooms and time of interview. In order to facilitate the smooth implementation of structured interview in the recruitment of Guangxi Y College, this paper also carried out predictive analysis on the implementation effect of structured interview, and put forward the targeted optimization strategy. Meanwhile, from qualitative and quantitative aspects, this paper established assessment scheme on the implementation effect of structured interview in teacher recruitment of Guangxi Y College.
