Research On Effective And Efficient Teaching Mode Of High-senior School's Geographical Class

Education calls for innovative talents,which is always inspired by classroom teaching.As front teaching subject,high school geography class should make cultivating innovative talents as their responsibility,in the meantime the classroom teaching should pay attention to open students' thinkings,but also focus on the students' independent innovation,as well as cooperative learning abilities.Classroom instruction should enable students to enjoy the class,allowing students to experience the joy of achievement,so that students have the passion to participate in class;classroom teaching should be conducive to the development of student life,which requires us to render classroom teaching effective and efficient.However,in fact,in these years,we had little change in geography class,basically speaking,students remaining at the outdated model of listening to the teacher,even,for many times,teaching is inefficient and even ineffective,with an old model and the outdated knowledge.All these are extremely detrimental to the development of students,which do not conform to the new curriculum requirements.In order to change these conditions,many experts in China and abroad have done research for improving it.But integrating effective classroom theory and practical geography classroom organically is almost a blank area.Based on this,as a first-line teacher,I conducted this research projects by teaching practices,trying to turn the theory into effective teaching geography classroom and to explore a suitable and effective geography teaching mode in high school.The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is Introduction.This section presents the reasons for writing this article,elaborates on the urgency of this study and its positive sense of stimulating students thinking,helping to arouse students' interest,and significantly improving students' self-learning and cooperative skills.This also can cultivate students' excellent qualities,which is beneficial to their lifelong development.Meanwhile,this section reviews the research situation in China and in the world,including the theoretical basis,research methods,etc.This study illustrates the potential value and practical significance from various aspects.The second part shows the current problems in the classroom,pointing out the practical problems,noting in particular classroom's limited environment for students' development,which restricted the students'creativity to extend,in the meantime is not conducive to cultivating students.It is of profound significance to stress the need for the classroom curriculum change,to render the classroom an effective and efficient teaching place,from the perspective of research.The third part extends on the content of effective teaching,making clear that independent learning,cooperative learning are the basic characteristics of effective teaching,which requires updated teaching,paying attention to the renewal and development of teaching content.While pursuing teaching effectiveness,timely teaching feedback and selecting appropriate teaching strategies are necessary for the implementation of effective teaching.The fourth part is effective teaching pattern of geography.Effective teaching classes uses different teaching modes for different types,including new teaching modes,recitation teaching mode,independent seminar mode,geographical inquiry experimental mode and so forth,four categories and five classes included.Each lesson type is given a certain pattern and implementation guidelines,with appropriate case analysis.For Wuwei teaching model and pattern of' geographical inquiry,this paper analyzed in detail with examples of experimental class.All these patterns reflect different aspects of effective teaching philosophy,which focuses on students' self-learning ability and cooperative learning ability.The fifth part centers on practice and reflection.After the implementation of effective teaching,students and teaching ability has been greatly improved,active classroom atmosphere is built,and the students get to be mobilized passionately to participate,which also gets positive reflex from the society.It has some disadvantages though,such as:different levels of students can not be treated all same,different curricula need to select a different mode of teaching,even in the same class we also need to select mixed mode of two or more,so the operational aspects of the model implementation,we need to investigate profoundly.Although the paper gives some models,but in actual teaching,teachers should also be flexible.Throughout this paper we adopted latest ideas of psychology,pedagogy and other theories,taking them as a guide,combined with specific teaching practice,trial and error,reflection,summary,and then practice.Meanwhile,the guidance of many experts,collective wisdom of group member and some case studies with strong operability in this paper are persuasive.
