In the background of the implementation of new curriculum standard in basic compulsory education, the education informatization and curriculum reform, the awkward situation of primary school's English course, which is a minor course but acquired to meet the strict standard of major course but restricted by the limited class hour, huge class capacity, etc., brings English teachers great pressure. At one hand, the students hates the boring English homework, at another hand, the teachers also are tired of correcting and evaluating. It's valuable to think how to change the situation of primary school's English homework.“17zuoye”, as a new idea coming from K12 education field, is with features of computer word correction for free, practice gamification, individuation, social, digitization. The author plans to do a teaching test based on the “17 zuoye” on-line homework platform,by the way of picking up 2 test classes whose homework to be done on line, 2 are contrasted classes whose homework to be done in traditional way. The main objective of the thesis is by analyzing the data, to find out whether the on-line homework could make some differences on relieving teachers' correction work load and motivating the students' interest in English homework.The significant of the thesis is as follows, 1.a trial in homework informatization, trying to change the low efficiency and low quality of traditional English homework; 2.a research in the application of the new homework form in students, to see whether it works on increasing the students' study interest and scores, etc.;3.a research on whether the new form can decrease the homework correction and evaluation workload of English teachers; 4.the conclusion and teaching laws will guide the future teaching in the reality.The thesis contains five chapters as follows, the first chapter includes the research background, objective, significance, literature review, research ideas, research process and method. The second chapter includes the guiding theories and their enlightenment for on-line homework, including multiple intelligence theory, constructive learning theory, theory of proximal development zone, humanism learning theory. The third chapter probes the feasibility of the on-line English homework in the following parts, 1.the function and modules of “17zuoye”; 2. the differences and the advantage of “17zuoye” compared with traditional homework; 3.hardware technology feasibility; 4.software technology feasibility. The fourth chapter probes the operation and evaluation of “17zuoye”, including the earlier stage's questionnaire survey, the analysis of later stage from the following aspects: the study interest and English capacity, homework completion, study result, case analysis, etc. The fifth chapter is the research conclusion and future prospects.The research methods include literature research method, questionnaire method, case analysis method and statistical analysis method.
