The Design And Implementation Of The Social Support Group's Work For Rural Left-behind Children

With the modernization of our country advancing constantly,a large number of surplus rural labors flock into the city,resulting in more and more rural left-behind children.Left-behind children refers to the underage children who are left at the domicile because their parent or parents work outside.As their parents are not around,the living and study status,psychological situation and security condition of left-behind children would be greatly affected.Therefore,the rural left-behind children's social support is particularly important.Based on the theory of social support,the study carries out the group work of rural left-behind children.Before developing group activities,the author and her partners look into the LH village of Anqing City,and understand the local left-behind children's problems and needs in living,study,psychology,emotion,security and other aspects with details through the survey,interview and participant observation.After that,they design team service scheme and carry out preliminary preparation,and then put in practice and explore on the basis of it.In these two months service time,six group activities have launched,which are "One Family with Joy","Colorful Little Master","Life Forum","Unity Power","Credible Loveand ","Happy to Say Goodbye".In the whole process of carrying out activities,the author adheres to the concept of "helping people to help themselves" and finishes the construction of three-in-one social support system among families,villages and schools of the left-behind children through the interaction between groups.Not only do they complete the task of the group well,but also improve their comprehensive ability and quality of life.Finally,on the basis of study and practice,the author sums up the intervention mode of rural left-behind children in social work.
