The Culture Conflict And Moderation Of The Citizens And Muslim Migrants

This paper respond to investigating interactions of culture between city of Muslim migrants and local urban residents through a variety of case study methods such as questionnaires,case analysis,participant observation. This research also combined with the theory of ethnology and sociology and focuses on the cultural conflict of Muslin migrants in the city.New generation predominate Muslim migrants of Hangzhou.They flow into the city from Qinghai and Gansu with regional characteristics prominence, therefore most of them are Muslims.Muslim migrants are meeting with the generally low level of education degree and generally higher pressures of city life.Cultural conflicts of cities for Muslim migrants which is reflected in this article in terms of seven aspects as following: that urban residents don't respect the Muslim living custom, clothing differences both sides, and the problems in language communication obstacles in the city, the religious culture differences, lack of religious sites, cross-national marriage problems.These cultural conflicts will not only affect their employment and daily life in the city, but also will bring the challenges to their religious beliefs.Then the author analyzed the reasons of the generation of cultural conflicts to Muslim migrants in this article,which Reason mainly comes from the Muslim group of the floating population and urban residents the of the cultural differences between the two sides mutual acceptance of each other's cultures attitude is one of the influencing factors, the government demand for Muslim religious culture of the floating population to meet or not, and know each other enough can also cause conflicts, and it is also culture conflict between urban and rural areas, traditional culture and modern culture conflict, and a reflection of national cultural conflict.We advocate to strenthen the cultural promotion and education and expand the cultural communication among different ethnias. Meanwhile we must value the needs of religious culture of Muslim migrants and increase community activities to enhance mutual understanding and aspect, also establish a good image of behavoring based on law,when handling with the cultural conflicts, we must judge based on the law. We try to improve the quality of Muslim imgrants and ourselves.
