With the development of society and the changing of times, the students are changing. At the same time, in the new curriculum reform, the "Appreciation Education", "Success Education", "Happy Education" and other new educational ideas are unprecedented. It seems that criticism in education is out dated, and it is opposite to the general educational environment. However, middle school students are in the important period of life, and there physical and mental development is not mature enough and the ability of self-control is poor, so the error will inevitably occur. It is the duty and obligation of every teacher to criticize and educate the students who make mistakes and to prevent the mistakes from happening again. The lack of necessary criticism of education will lead to the unbalanced psychological development and the decline of the students' psychological endurance, resistance to frustration and the ability to reduce the pressure. But in the practice of criticism in education, the majority of teachers should take all kinds of factors into consideration and take reasonable criticism and education measures to achieve the desired effect.In this paper, we first explain the problems of the critical education in the class management: the teacher is not good, unwilling, not dare to criticize education. And then clarify the causes, including the lack of training and learning, the teacher is not good at criticism in education; under the pressure of public opinions, teachers dare not criticize in education; under the pressure of educational administration, teachers are unwilling to criticize in education. Secondly, the principles of criticism in education in class management are analyzed and summarized, putting forward the principles of fairness, timeliness, pertinence, consistency and guidance. What's more, several improvements of the effective class management criticism and education is put forward, for example, guiding the correct guidance of public opinions, enhancing teachers' professional quality, making the main bodies of critical education cooperate with each other, making multi channel communication platform and establishing innovative class management. Finally, it is necessary to draw the conclusion of the paper, criticism in education is necessary but it should be used reasonably and appropriately in order to achieve the expected goal of education.
