With the rapid development of China's urbanization, rural surplus labor force is shifting to the city constantly, due to the influence of multiple factors is influenced by individual farmers, household registration system factors and so on, they can not be with their children in learning and life around them, thus form a large number of rural left behind children. These rural left behind children due to the long separation with parents, they do not get parents reasonable and correct guidance, so their education which will produce a series of effects of individual development. On the question of education of rural left behind children has become a hot social issue, to deal with the education of the rural left behind children, become the focus of attention of all levels of governments and experts and scholars. The most effective way to solve the educational problems of children left behind is the organic combination of family, school, government and society. In fact that school plays key role to guarantee these children's proper growth with the weakness even lack of family nurture, the delay of official law and the lack of social education.This thesis introduces a rural school in Zhangjiakou. It focuses on the school measures that could be taken to deal with this issue on the study of leftover children's education. It gets analysis data through questionnaires, interviews and observations. And the data are organized and analyzed with qualitative and quantitative analysis. In specific, it includes 246 questionnaires which have been given back, and interviews of leftover children, their parents, head teacher and teachers.The practical countermeasures and suggestions to deal with this issue should be: On the basis of meeting the family expenses, parents should minimize work out and compensate for education,strengthen they in their children's care and education responsibilities. Comprehensive measures should be taken to help the left behind children overcome all kinds of difficulties. Reform system of rewards and punishment, improve teachers' quality, teachers are encouraged to join the left behind children's management team; strengthen home school links, establishment of left behind children files; in response to national policy, implementation of a boarding school for the implementation of the construction, extension school of life of left behind children in aspects of tube functions; vigorously strengthen the psychological health education in the school. Giving full play to the leading role of school education, to better solve the educational problems of left behind children in rural areas from the perspective of school education.
