At present, China’s rapid economic and social development and city change a course accelerate, rural service output becomes broad farmer casts off poverty, important way that increases income, and to some extent it makes labor force from the first industry to other industries, has great social significance; on the other hand, this trend has produced a kind of special social group--the rural left-behind children. The so-called " left-behind children ", also called " empty nest children ", referring to one or both parents from rural flow to other regions, rural children in residence, and therefore cannot and both parents living together following17years of age and minors. Now, on rural left-behind children ’s education problem has caused various government height takes seriously, the children of today is tomorrow’s the country’s future constructors, so, the problem of left-behind children is not an educational problem, but also a social problem. The author for many years has been concern, participation of the rural left-behind children’s education present situation, and carries out special survey.Rural "left-behind children" number, widely distributed, problems, present situation. The Hunan province Leiyang city " left-behind children " were investigated, their current education exist some problems, such as: learning difficulties, weariness, serious irregularities, moral consciousness is weak, lack of emotional, developmental health, care and lack of security and safety control. Aiming at these problems, the author thinks to answer from the following several aspects, in order to improve the "left-behind children" educational status:first, develop rural economics energetically, cogent advance construction of socialistic new rural area; second, improve the legal and policy, create a good environment; third, family, school, society to" three in one" big education network.In this paper, questionnaire, interview, related literature, combining theory and practice two levels divided into three parts of the rural left-behind children’s education status quo of.The first part:put forward the question, elaborated rural left-behind children’s education research present situation, and carry out the purpose of the thesis; the second part:through investigation and analysis, the rural left-behind children’s education present situation and the existence question; the third part:from the society, family and school three put forward the corresponding suggestions and countermeasures.In short, should cogent solve rural left-behind children’s education problem, promote every child the comprehensive, healthy development, needs of family, school, society "three combination" or " integration ", to the school education, family education and social education in close coordination, coordinated.
