In recent years, the writing of overseas Chinese teaching materials is increasing progressively. However, even there is quite number of overseas Chinese teaching materials in the market, the number of relative teaching reference materials are very limited. And the problems of limitation of research and imperfection of compilation on these existing materials are obvious. This article adopted the comparative analysis- took Teaching Reference Book of Zhongwen, which is complied for overseas Chinese, as the object of study; and took the Teachers Teaching Reference Book of domestic Chinese(Renjiao Edition) and English(PEP Edition) textbook as the basic of references. It has discovered the cons and pros of the Zhongwen Teaching Reference Book through the study, and has provided some practical blue prints of how to refine it.The article includes 6 Chapters. The first chapter mainly discuses the reasons and meanings of choosing the topic; and states the most current research situation of the teaching references materials domestically and internationally.The second chapter states the teaching reference materials' compiling theory of domestic Chinese, English and overseas Chinese, which based on the emphasis of relationship between teachers and teaching reference materials. And it summarized that the results of comparing the three materials states how the Teachers Teaching Reference Book of Chinese(Renjiao Edition) and English(PEP Edition) provide certain reference significance to Zhongwen Teaching Reference Book.The third chapter analyzed the compilation style and contents of Zhongwen Teaching Reference Book. The results of comparing the three materials based on the whole book, main articles and reading, has reflected the similarities and differences of the three materials' compilation style and content.The fourth chapter summarized the cons and pros of the Zhongwen Teaching Reference Book based on comparative analysis. And the chapter has provided some practical correcting advice according to the fundamental features of Chinese education.The fifth chapter took one text of Zhongwen(Primary School Edition) as the base, provided a completed teaching reference model. The sixth chapter summarized research conclusion and the shortcoming of the paper.
