In recent years, the study of the teaching reference books gradually occupy a place in the field of language teaching and research. In this paper, the PEP edition teaching reference book and the Nan-yi edition teaching reference book were chosen as our research object between Chinese mainland and Taiwan areas. Trying to learn the high school Chinese teaching reference books as a whole through comparative study of two version of teaching reference books."Introduction" section focuses on the research origin and current research status,noted that the current study focused on teaching reference parameters teaching style, history, teaching reference point questioned the use and knowledge of several areas, and defines the object of study.The first chapter is an introduction to two editions of writing style of teaching reference books. "PEP" teaching reference include "unit description", "text discussion" "on practice," "teaching suggestions" and "information" five parts; "Nan-yi" teaching reference is divided into "pre-class preparation," "class Professor" and "after-school extension" of three parts, including the selected text description text review, focus on teaching, teaching suggestions, saying quotes, exams focus, writing exercises, problem solutions, author, text and comments, questions and discussion questions to guide teaching, extended reading, movies and other extension 14 sections.The second chapter compares two versions of written content teaching reference books.The teaching reference content into the "background knowledge", "text discussion" and "workbook" three parts, compare two versions of teaching reference books’ similarities and differences in these three areas, and concludes that "PEP" teaching reference artistic features and "Nan-yi" teaching reference practicality features.The third chapter is the basis for research on the previous two chapters, summarize some suggestions on the mainland teaching reference books on writing and using.Points out that Chinese reference book should increase the specific content of the teaching activity design, the focus should be on the grasp of the basics, the interpretation of the text should be more open; teachers should be more rational use of teaching reference, to avoid over-reliance on teaching reference.This chapter is also for the entire research summary and conclusion.
