With the gradual transformation of the concept of human health, the rapid development of modern medicine, in today's society, there is growing demand for high-quality skilled nurses. Nursing students are the reserve team of nursing career and their good physical and mental health conditions directly affect the stability and development of the nursing team.As a special level of college education, the lifestyle of higher vocational nursing students shows its diversity and multiple attribute. Many studies show that the unhealthy life style may have a serious effect on students' physical and mental health, so guiding them to develop a scientific way of life, and improving their mental health are crucial importance to the healthy and stable development of nusing career.Nowadays,there are many studies about the lifestyle and mental health of undergraduates. Most of these studies are focused on lifestyle or mental health separately, but there are no studies about the correlation between the lifestyle and mental health of vocational female nursing students. So the study on the lifestyle and mental health condition of the female nursing students in higher vocational colleges has practical significance to solve their mental health problems. Research purposes:This research is based on the actual situation of higher vocational nursing students, through a cross-sectional survey, get to know the lifestyle and mental health status of higher vocational nursing students,and then analyze them, establish health education and intervention for nursing education and administrators to avoid the bad effects of unhealthy lifestyle, target scientific basis for higher vocational college students to form good habits, improve the level of mental health intervention and prevention countermeasures. Research methods:This is an inventory survey in the form of questionnaire. Research objects are the nursing students of Weinan Vocational and Technical College. The contents of the questionnaire included general scale, mental health scale, way of life. Investigators are trained and data uses EpiData2.0 entry to establish database, all data statistical analysis is performed using the SPSS19.0 statistical software. Statistical data description is based on mean, standard deviation and other indicators, count and level describe the use of the information rate, percentage of relative index. Contrastive analysis of the statistical comparison index using t-test or analysis of variance; Correlation analysis using Pearson correlation coefficient analysis; Logistic regression is adopted to improve the multiple factors analysis. Analysis and study on the lifestyle and mental health condition of female nursing students in higher vocational colleges and explore the correlation between them. Results1) Lifestyle of female nursing students in Weinan Vocational and Technical College overall states moderate deviation(30.14±7.04), quite a proportion of students have bad habits. The safety behavior scores highest(Mean was 7.75), smoking centers(Mean was 2.09), eating habits(Mean was 4.82) and exercise fitness(Mean was 3.50) have lower scores.2) There is statistical significance of mental health differences between female nursing students of different schooling, grades, home places, parents' occupations. But there isn't statistical significance in parents' education levels, family economy, or whether they are the only child in the family.3)Students mental health overall shows in good condition in higher vocational female nursing students(153.48±49.9), but there are also many problems. Obvious psychological problems or obstacles are forcing symptoms(Mean was 2.04), relationship(Mean was 1.81), depression(Mean was 1.76) and anxiety(Mean was 1.74).4)There is statistical significance of mental health differences between female nursing students of different schooling, grades, home places, parents' education levels. But there isn't statistical significance in parents' occupations, family economy, or whether they are the only child in the family.5) lifestyle and mental health conditions of female nursing students in higher vocational colleges are negatively correlated, and under certain conditions, those who have better lifestyles have less mental problems and high mental health levels. Through stepwise regression analysis, the main factors affecting mental health of higher vocational female nursing students are grades, mother's occupation and education levels, student loans, smoking, alcohols, drugs, stress control and security. Conclusion:Higher vocational female nursing students mental health level is generally in good condition, mental health is influenced by many factors including lifestyle, school, family and social,etc…. Healthy lifestyle is conducive to the improvement of mental health. Psychological health education workers in higher vocational colleges should have closer relations with the family, society and play a harmonious interaction function between lifestyle and mental health, focus on the health education especially the five-year, sophomore year and rural female nursing students, make them form a scientific, healthy habits, active and good mental state, comprehensively promote the female nursing students physical and mental health and social adaptation ability, and promote the healthy development of nursing career.
