Left-behind children have been the subject of concern, but the problem has not been well solved. Scholars have to do a lot of research, but the basic are from a macro point of view, put forward some suggestionsandmeasures.It is very difficult to implement,needs national complete reform from top to bottom, in order for the left behind children to dawn. But the proportion of left-behind children is very high. In a short time, it is impossible to change the current situation.By looking up the relevant literature, it is found that the left-behind children generally face troubled interpersonal problems. This study focuses on the left behind children's interpersonal skills.The steps include reading literature, selecting questionnaire, doing investigation, groupintervention, results analysis and finishing paper. The study combined two ways of the questionnaire method and experimental method, investigated 512 students from Li Jiaping Middle School, and the selected 15 left behind children participate in group intervention, in order to improve the social problems.This study mainly draws the following conclusions:(1) the awareness of the communication between the left behind girls is better than that of the boys;(2) with the increase of the grade, the interpersonal communication ability of the left behind children is also improved;(3) the interpersonal communication ability of the left behind children experienced by the class cadre is better than that of the children who have not experienced the class cadre;(4) the higher the score of the left behind children, the higher the interpersonal skills;(5) group counseling intervention can improve the interpersonal communication skills of rural left behind children.According to the survey results, the group counseling as a good teaching mode of mental health education, so as to promote the healthy development of left-behind children psychology.
