Chinese curriculum in the past for a long time, the novel is one of the important literary style, the novel teaching is always an important part of Chinese teaching. But in the reality of Chinese teaching, the novel teaching is often poor. Today's Chinese novel teaching high school, still maintained in the three elements of the novel to the content of the classroom teaching mode. The advancement of new curriculum reform, let more and more teachers realized that this teaching model, we can not help but ask, novel should teach? How to teach?In view of the \ "teach what\" is the premise, so we only to establish good classroom teaching content, and to explore the teaching method of the novel this category. Through access to relevant data, found that the modern narrative theory for the determination of novel teaching contents in the very great degree has guiding significance.Chinese curriculum teaching not only can let students self-study materials in the selection and selection of read system, also performed in the research in the connotation of the text in the language classroom teachers excavated, and convey to the students of class teaching content. To this, can be viewed from two aspects by combining the modern narrative theory discusses the teaching contents of fiction. Mainly is divided into two parts, one is novel to read in a person's version of the teaching material system, the other is a high school classroom of teaching. Second, purposefully introduce the relevant knowledge of modern narrative, in view of the current high school novel teaching the present situation of the problem, prove that the modern narrative theory reference significance to the teaching of high school novel. Again, through the modern narrative theory guidance, student textbooks for high schools are novel content construction and modern narrative theory in high school classroom teaching the application of the novel, through modern narrative theory provides new thinking for the construction of high school Chinese novel teaching.
