In Chinese language teaching in high school,fiction is an irreplaceable important existence.In recent years,the promotion of the new curriculum reform has put forward higher requirements for the teaching of fiction.The traditional fiction teaching mode seems to be somewhat incompetent.Faced with the current predicament,the introduction of narratological theory helps to explore novel teaching in the form of forms that are often overlooked,creating opportunities for more in-depth and more diversified interpretations of high school novel teaching,and also for first-line teachers and language research.They bring new ideas and ideas for teaching novels.This paper consists of five parts.First,in the introduction,the author introduces the origin of this paper,the literature review and the research direction proposed on the basis of the review,and the research methods used in this study.Second,it elaborates the theory development of Chinese and western narrative theory and the related concepts of western narrative science.Thirdly,the author analyzes the specific application of the theory of narratology in the teaching of Chinese classical novels,such as Lin Daiyu's Entered Jia Manor and Lin Chong Sheltersfrom the Snowstrom in the Shanshen Temple Fourtly,the author analyzes the specific application of narrative theory in the teaching of Blessing and Frontier City(excerpt).Fifth,summarize the main points and shortcomings of this thesis.
