The development of higher education directly affected by the external environment, such as politics?economy?culture and so on, the value orientation of higher education also play a crucial role. Because the value orientation of higher education have a guide for higher education all practice activities and specification, is also the judgment and evaluation criterion on the rationality of the activities of higher education. The problems of the value and orientation of Higher Education is not only the core issues for the development, but also is the starting point and destination of all the activities of higher education. And the current development of China's higher education into a deep level of value orientation on the contradictions and problems, which lead to further explore the underlying causes becoming a crucial job.Only the correct higher education value orientation is able to provide rational guide for the practice, promoting the harmonious and comprehensive development of man and society.This research altogether is divided into six parts to discuss: The first part is an introduction, including the background and significance?the domestic and foreign research review?research methods and ideas?the main issues and innovation;The second part is the theoretical value orientation of Higher Education, based mainly on the value orientation of higher education connotation and denotation to define, and compared the connected and difference with related concepts, summarizes the basic characteristics of higher education value orientation, and on this basis proposed theanalysis of the dimensions of higher education value orientation;Third part to the historical development of education value orientation, researching and investigation the Chinese and western higher education from the ancient?modern?contemporary history of three phase evolution from a historical perspective on the evolution course of higher education value orientation, summarizes the evolution features and trend of higher education value orientation;The fourth part of is the value of higher education research orientation bias, mainly discuss practical contradictions caused by deviation orientation? value orientation deviation of the specific performance?value orientation into the causes of deviation;The fifth part is the reality of Higher Education Value Selection, mainly put forward the basic selected choiceprinciples of value orientation of higher education, and on this basis to mention the relevant specific proposed actions; The sixth part is the conclusion and prospect, carry out on the whole books general summary points, point out the shortcomings which the follow-up studies need to further strengthen.Reasonable value orientation of higher education should be consistent with the development requirements of the times and reflect the characteristics of the concept of social development, and the development of life-educated showed a high degree of humane care, with the value of a traditional view of transcendence and abandoned.
