Geriatric Social Work In Urban Old People Who Live Alone At Home Endowment To Explore The Application

With the continuous development of our economy and society, the aging of the population is in the increasingly deepening, and the structure of traditional families has also changed. In cities, the special group of elderly people living alone has appeared. They are in a weak position in society and need the whole society to give more care and love. At present, elderly people living alone have been faced with many problems in the daily life care and spiritual comfort that need to be addressed. Therefore, in dealing with the aging problem in China, we should vigorously promote the development of pension services, which can not only effectively deal with an aging population,improve people's livelihood and promote social welfare undertakings, but also bring well being to the elderly population who have pension needs. In our country, under the endowment service system “based on family pension,community service as the backing, institution endowment as supplement",community endowment service level has been improved, which has laid a good foundation for the development of the pension in China.This paper combines the author's internship experience in Y community in Guiyang. In the practical aspects, it has carried on the exploration and research on how to apply geriatric social work to the elder people living alone.The author, based on the field survey in Y community, comprehensively analyzes the status quo of elder people living alone. By using such social work methods as case study and group study. This article, through recording the process of home endowment service to these people, analyzes the functions and evaluations of social work intervention. Through the practice of the practical work, it has provided experience and reference for the future work.
