Chinese characters is the writing symbol to record Chinese and the foundation of learning Chinese.However, Teaching in Chinese Characters isn't valued. In 2015,the author was luckily to be one of Chinese volunteers to teach Chinese in South korea. To have a better understanding of the present state of Chinese teaching in South Korea,Two kinds of questionnaires were designed by the author and were filled in by 30 Chinese volunteers and 200 senior two students in Changduk Girls' High School. Besides, students' Chinese writing errors were collected and analyzed. Combined the present state of Chinese teaching with students' Chinese writing errors, some suitable stratedies were put forward, which may provide a reference for Chinese characters teaching in South Korea.This paper is divided into four parts: The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the purpose and significance of topics, research status, research methods and the present situation of Chinese teaching in South Korea including South Korea's policy of Chinese characters and teaching outline, teaching materials of Chinese characters and class curriculum. The second chapter is the questionnaire survey and the analysis of it. The questionnaire surveys were filled in by 30 Seoul volunteer teachers and 200 senior two students in Changduk Girls' High School. The third chapter is error analysis. Students writing errors at ordinary times are sorted out,and the types and the reasons of writing errors are analyzed based on it. At last, measures are put forward from the perspective of teachers' teaching and students learning.
