Study On The Cultual Contruction Of University Of Science And Engineering Coliegess In Our Country

Under the background of the creation of the world- class university and the first-class subject, according to the phenomenon paying attention to science but despising liberal arts in science and engineering colleges of China, that proposes the view balancing the amount of time spent on arts and science subjects, making integration of liberal arts and science and using culture to strong school. The view culture strengthen school refers to the work strengthening humanities and social sciences of science and engineering colleges and developing the effect of humanities and social sciences in building the world-class university. From the perspective of students as the standard of education,strengthening the construction of humanities and social sciences plays an important role in the overall development of students. Because of science and engineering colleges have their own characteristics, the construction of university culture is rich of particularity. That has positive practical significance to the construction of university culture in the current science and engineering colleges, analysising of the characteristics of university culture in science and engineering colleges, studying on the connotation and significance of construction of university culture, the achievements and shortcomings of science and engineering colleges and the countermeasures of cultural construction in science and engineering colleges.
