In the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi Jinping described the grand blueprint of the socialist cultural power with Chinese characteristics in the new era,pointing out the direction for the people from cultural self-awareness,cultural self-confidence and cultural self-improvement,and embodies the great development and prosperity of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics.Mission to serve.College campus culture is a spiritual symbol and soul of a university.It is also an important part of the advanced culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics.It strengthens the campus culture construction of colleges and universities,enhances the soft power of campus culture,and cultivates high-quality innovative talents for colleges and universities and inherits the fine traditions of China.Culture and the service of society are of great significance.The universities of science and engineering have unique cultural characteristics in the process of building campus culture,and have carried out innovations on the basis of inheriting the original excellent campus culture.This paper uses questionnaires to understand the basic situation of campus culture construction in science and engineering universities,and analyzes the lack of systems in science and engineering universities.The system's humanistic ideas,the lack of attractive campus cultural activities,the lack of investment in cultural facilities by schools,and the lack of attention to the implementation of cultural institutions have led to a relatively weak cultivation of humanistic spirit,insufficient participation of students,and obsolete cultural facilities.The implementation of the system is not optimistic and other issues arise.Finally,it is suggested that science and engineering colleges should strengthen campus culture construction from four aspects: strengthening the ideological guidance of campus spiritual culture,perfecting the campus culture construction systemguarantee system,increasing investment in campus cultural facilities,and enhancing students' participation in campus cultural activities.The research of this thesis is divided into four parts: The first chapter mainly discusses the background and significance of the research,the overview of the concepts related to campus culture,the research ideas and methods,and combs and integrates the research status at home and abroad to find out the innovation of this paper.The second chapter mainly analyzes the theory and characteristics of campus culture construction in science and engineering colleges.Firstly,it explains the theoretical basis of campus culture construction,and then analyzes the particularity of campus culture construction in science and engineering colleges.The third chapter is The situation of campus culture construction in science and engineering colleges is analyzed.Firstly,it sorts out the achievements that have been made in the construction of campus culture in science and engineering colleges.Then it analyzes the problems existing in the process of campus culture construction in science and engineering colleges.Finally,it analyzes and summarizes the causes of these problems.The fourth chapter focuses on the problems found,and studies the path of campus culture construction in science and engineering colleges from the four aspects of material,spirit,behavior and system,and lays a good foundation for the construction of campus culture in many universities of science and engineering.
