The college entrance examination, a bridge between basic education and higher education, is the focus of public discussion, but also a hot issue of academic research.In recent years, the education in China made great achievements.College entrance rate increased year by year, which has reached the level of popularity.However,the entrance unfair problems still exist, mainly in terms of gender differences, class differences, regional differences and urban-rural differences. Among them, differences between urban and rural areas is most obvious.Fair issue of urban and rural college entrance examination has already become focus of social problems. Under this background, to study the issue of urban and rural fair entrance undoubtedly has profound practical significance.This paper focuses on the fairness of college entrance examination in city and countryside of our country in the admissions process at the present stage. And the main research methods include literature analysis, quantitative research and comparative analysis method. In the course of the study, it based on Bernstein Code Theory, through the analysis of family education of foreign student of different classes,compared with China's current urban and rural class division, analysis of the language code associated with the school education, in order to lay the foundation for the application of the theory of symbol code to the fairness of urban and rural college entrance examination in China. Then, Related to the university entrance exam in Guizhou province in recent five years data statistics as the research object, with dimensional analysis of the urban and rural candidates, the study discusses the art and science of urban and rural candidates exam number, the number of on-line, the distribution characteristics of course grades, every subject grade standard deviation,correlation coefficient between subject score and total score and so on. Finally,combined with the code theory and the above data analysis, the research may draw three basic conclusions, namely, the examine identity has a significant impact on testscores. Different test subjects have different filter function for urban and rural candidates. The candidates are affected by family and school factors.
