Since professional degree education has been introducted in the early 1990's in China,it made the attention within domestic higher education field.And it's also a key point of graduate education structure adjustment and training mode reform in China in the future.On the other hand,its education quality evaluation method and evaluation standard is the key to determine its quality.Undoubtedly,It has important and farreaching significance to complete a professional degree education quality index,which is different from the quality evaluation system of academic degree education,improving the education management,perfecting the education evaluation system,leading the development of the professional degree,improving the whole quality of graduate education.First of all,I researched and reviewed the topic about “professional degree education quality index ” at home and abroad.Finding that the most part is still stay in study of academic quality evaluation system.There is no outstanding about professional degree education applied to society,which cultivate the characteristics of high-level graduates.Based on the above situation,I put forward the research ideas,the research contents and the innovation points.Secondly,I carded professional degree postgraduate education development of our country with a longitudinal perspective.And on the basis of national higher education policy,the process can be divided into three periods: the emerging phase(in the early 1980's-1989),the development period(1990-2008),the transformation period(2009-present).Comparing various professional development situation with a latitudinal perspective,we found that the professional degree of professional closely combined with the current trend of social and economic development.It's helpful to training a large number of high-level talents for the society;From the perspective of regional distribution,professional degree graduates are obviously different,and presents extreme tendency in China.Thirdly,I complete the professional degree education quality index from "two direction,three perspective".Two directions stand for internal and external education system.Three perspectives stand for the evaluate students' vocational ability by employer,"input-output",and "power-efficiency".On the one hand,the cooperation with school internship practice base to research in the form of interns,standing on the outside of the education system establishment of employers to evaluate students' occupation ability index(OAI)through the questionnaire and interview.On the other hand,I made the traditional higher education evaluation system suitable for professional degree evaluation,from the "input-output","power-efficiency" point of view.This article focuses on building contains 6 partial,17 indexes of professional degree education quality evaluation system and index.Finally,I calculued for the construction of the index method of practical operation on the steps,I chose B university graduate and professional degree for empirical research,and finally get the results of professional degree education quality index of the B university,to verify the feasibility of this thesis research results.
