With the development of informatization and globalization, more and more information, which is carrying different values, is in a very high degree of freedom. At present, although the mainstream values are positive, there are still some of the information content not conducive to the healthy growth of students, and even some corrupt news fills them. For the growing high school students, their curiosity is strong, the degree of their psychological maturity is weak, emotional fluctuations are larger, value judgment and choice ability are not strong. All of these will make them receive the information intentionally or unintentionally. If the intervention and guidance of educators are not timely when such problems arise, the high school students’ ideology and behavior will consequentially be affected negatively. This is not conducive to the shaping of personality. Even worse, it may cause the students to embark on the criminal road, and will have a long influence on their personal development. High school ideological and political course is an important course of guiding students’ healthy personality development. How to cultivate students’ healthy personality is an important subject by the teaching of ideological and political course in high school.This article intends to elaborate the high school ideological and political education and high school students’ healthy personality training from the following several aspects. Firstly, the relationship between the teaching of ideological and political course in high school and the cultivation of high school students’ healthy personality: mental health is an important content of ideological and political education, ideological and political education is an important way to develop students’ psychological health and set up students’ healthy personality. Secondly, on the basis of the new curriculum standards, curriculum content, teaching process and so on in high school ideological and political course, discuss the problems in the cultivation of high school students’ healthy personality. Specifically, it mainly includes teaching plan, teaching content, teaching method, teaching evaluation and so on. Then analyze the cause with the questions as guidance. Thirdly, search for the approaches to improve the current situation of high school ideological and political teaching, and solve the existing problems. Proceeding from teaching subject, teaching content, teaching mode and teaching evaluation of the four aspects, guided by the specific reasons, discuss the countermeasures.Through these three steps, I hope the high school ideological and political course will be able to play a positive role in shaping the students’ healthy personality, in order to achieve the goal of their healthy development and happy growth.
