The Development And Application Of Youth Boldness Personality Scale In Sports

Through the method of literature,qualitative interview, psychological measurement and mathematical statistics, the author do some researches about the youth sports Boldness personality. Based on the open questionnaire,we know that the factors,which have influence on the youth Boldness personality in sports, and according to the theory and survey results, preliminary arranging the scale of the youth Boldness personality in sports.Through the reliabilities and validations of the scale were analyzed,finally,the scale was completed. Providing a suitable measurement tool and theoretical basis for the research of youth Boldness personality in sports.The scale has a good reliability and validity. The conclusion as follows:1. Give the definition of the youth Boldness personality in sports.The youths show that adventure and few concerns in the sports.2. The measurement dimensions of youth Boldness personality in sports were constructed preliminarily by qualitative research, it consisted of Confidence,Barve,Adventure, Determination. Confidence includes that Body confidence, psychological and social confidence; Barve is dare to youth sports personality integrated with the related theory closely, it shows the youth dare to try, dare to challenge, aggressive; Adventure is a outstanding characteristics in sports situation, including that not fear of dangerous and brave; Determination is a decided style in sports situation, in rapid determination, few scruples.3.The scale of the youth Boldness personality in sports was arranged and it has acceptable reliability and construct validity. Verifying the validity of the scale structure by exploratoty factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Structural equation model was used to test the relationship between the dimensions of youth Boldness personality in sports. The result showed that Confidence in sports,Adventure,Determination,Brave positively related with each other.4.Youth Boldness personality in sports, there are some certain differences in the demographic variables of youth personality in sports:the level of youth Boldness personality emotions in sports is the highest; The Adventure level in sports is the lowest, no significant differences in other dimensions in sports; The male personalty level in sports is higher than women in all dimensions. No significant differences among the primary school,middle school and high school,but the level of the primary school students is the lowest,and it has the tendency of increase with the age increasing;Young athletes'personality level is higher than significantly other adolescent population; In the type of participation in sports activities, youth personalty level is significantly the lowest.5.The subjective influencing factors and objective influencing factors were put forward. Personality, physical quality, psychological quality, emotion, are its subjective influencing factors. Objective factors including environment, school, group, family, teachers, etc. The subjective and objective factors both showed significantly movement situation.
