| Developing Educational activities in universities depends on the effective implementation of the campus security management, because a safe campus is necessary environmental protection for attaining the goal of higher education. In recent years, with the increasing expansion of enrollment scale and the continuous transformation of higher education, all kinds of social and campus contradictions have arisen gradually, causing more security accidents on the campus. Campus accidents have become a social focus, while the main causes of it are complicated and diversified. The author tries to make a research on this issue from the policy-making, system-implementing and team construction, contacting the real campus environment.The paper consists of four chapters. Chapter 1 is the definition of security management in universities and its theoretical basis. At first, this chapter mainly states definitions, features and connotations of security management and campus accidents. Then, it also sets forth the current situation of campus security management at home and abroad based on theoretical research of public crisis, public safety and social control. Chapter 2 analyses the current situation of security management in Anhui Xinhua University. Chapter 3 lists the existing campus security problems in this university. Chapter 4 puts forward the measures of strengthening the campus security management in Xinhua University from institutional improvement, team building, campus culture development and the construction of campus security network.Campus security which involves every aspect of the existence and development of a university, has a close relation to a harmonious and stable campus. Therefore, people should have a complete and deep understanding about the importance of campus security work and actively solve different problems about it to protect the serene academic order of students, ensuring security throughout the campus area and the healthy development of higher education. |
