A Study On College Risk Management

A healthy and safe college environment and good learning atmosphere are very important for teaching and researching. There are many college crimes happened in recent years, and it has negative impacts on the stability and development of colleges and universities. As an important part of daily management, it plays a key role in college management works. Therefore, colleges should pay more attention to the safety management and cultivate the crisis awareness. This is also the appeal from the whole society. By doing document research, the study analyzed the whole picture of college crisis management, and pointed out the short points in it. And then, through deeply explanation and summary of the basic concepts, I built the basement of the study. This paper analyzed the current picture of college crisis management in China based on the examples of crisis management situation in colleges in Xi’an, WHO and ISS methods, and relative cases. By using interview and questionnaire, this paper summarized the shorts of college crisis management in China, and gave suggestions from the perspectives of professors, execution power of administrative level, college management policy and experience.
