As one part of comprehensive quality education,music education plays an important role in the aesthetic education.It is paid more and more attention by teachers and parents due to its advantages such as influencing sentiment,purifying mind,improvement of character,sublimation of the ideological level.However,the situation of the music education is not desirable in the reality,which is subject to Small number of teaching equipment per capita,outdated teaching pattern and the deeply rooted traditional education concept.In order to make full use of the teaching resources and improve the efficiency,this paper studies on the development of Kodaly music teaching approach and its application in the Shangyao primary school in Zhifu district,Yantai as an example,focusing on the regularity and the teaching effects of the Kodaly music approach in the process of the music education in the primary school.The main contents are listed as follows.First,theories of the Kodaly music educations are summarized and the necessity and its feasibility are given in the music education in the primary school.Secondly,experiments are carried out to verify the effect of the Kodaly music education approach.To do this,experimental groups are constituted with low-grade and high-grade students.In the groups,the students are taught with traditional and Kodaly music methods in the fields of rhythm teaching,singing teaching,multi-voice chorus teaching and music appreciation teaching.Then,the experimental data can be obtained for the purpose of the horizontal and vertical analysis.In the following,according to the experimental data,the differences of the teaching effect with the traditional and the Kodaly music methods can be analyzed with the horizontal analysis.In a similar manner,the characters of the Kodaly music approach can be obtained using the vertical analysis.Finally,the application of the Kodaly music approach used in the primary school can be summarized.In addition,some suggestions are proposed aiming to solve some problems in the music teaching,which is beneficial to the solve the similar problems in the similar primary school referring to the effective methods discussed in this paper.Theory and Practice show that the basic ideas and methods Kodaly music method combing with practical teaching elementary school music can make full use of the existing teaching resources,improve teaching effectiveness.Meanwhile,it can promote students' self-confidence with significant effect.
