In order to change students' learning style and emphasize the importance of collaborative learning style,Xuzhou City put forward “Learning-teaching Project” in2013.In this project, students are the central body of the classroom teaching. The results of collaborative learning directly influence the effect of “Learning-teaching Project”.So it is necessary to study on the present situation of collaborative learning for practicing the Project better.First of all, through studying the elements influencing the results of collaborative learning, the writer will put forward collaborative teaching strategy which is easy to be operated to improve the quality of biology teaching,in order to.Transform the learning style of students.Secondly, research on the relation of collaborative learning and “Learning-teaching Project” to enrich the theoretical connotation of collaborative learning.Thirdly, the writer will come up with relevant teaching strategy based on practice, and adopted it in classroom teaching to form an optimized and mature operation system. This dissertation studies research status, basic meanings, elements and theoretical foundation of collaborative learning, and analyzes its types and characteristics in junior school Biology class. It suggests that collaborative learning has become a mature learning mode, and has been applicated in many countries and cities. However, some weaknesses exist in classroom teaching, such as against competitive learning. In this dissertation,we combine the relevant theory of learning strategy with teaching practice and then come up with effective collaborative learning strategy which is liable to bring it into force. We make a questionnaire in 6 schools containing 563 students and 44 teachers in XinYi city.We use the questionnaire survey method and start our work with the “attitude, implementation, effect and influence factor of collaborative learning”.We also viewed and emulate the biology classroom in order to find the benefits and drawbacks of collaborative leaning. We also interview 8 biology teachers worked at first teaching line.We try to ask for information of the current study situation and draw the conclusion as follows:(1)The collaborative learning mode has been well received and generally accepted by teachers and students in many schools.(2)The results of collaborative learning are strongly influenced by whether students have explicit learning objectives and independent learning time as well as participation of teachers.(3)Unquestionably,all kinds of difficulties are met in implementing the collaborative learning mode, such as the imbalance between the limited time of course and the requirement of the time students need for collaborative inquiry, the insufficiency of evaluation system to judge students' performance and so on.(4)According to characteristic of Biology in junior middle school, the thesis puts forward relative teaching strategies in term of the guidance, design and preparation, organization, implementation, supervision and assessment of collaborative learning.Teachers are supposed to make adequate preparation before class and every student plays a significant role in cooperative learning groups and could help each other in the process of fulfill a task. With teacher's guidance, students break through many key issues.Emphasizing the leading and guiding role of the group leader and evaluating students comprehensively is also important.(5)Through analyzing teaching cases,it can be found that teachers' fully preparation and effective guidance can heave the effects of collaborative learning, which proves the validity of guiding strategy.
