Junior high school biology curriculum standard emphasizes that junior high school biology experiment teaching is a kind of inquiry activity,and it is also one of the basic forms of biology teaching classroom.It is of great significance to realize the teaching goal of junior high school biology course and cultivate students' scientific inquiry ability.At present,there are some problems in junior middle school biology experiment teaching,such as exam oriented teaching,letting students recite experiments,and carrying out teaching according to the experimental routine of "problem principle conclusion experimental proof",which is very unfavorable to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.Project learning is a kind of teaching mode that allows students to study knowledge and improve skills by working in groups and completing works around a certain project task or problem.It has the characteristics of students as the main body,students taking the initiative to carry out experimental exploration,hands-on completion of project works and paying attention to the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.It perfectly meets the requirements of the new curriculum standard for students' ability cultivation The basic idea of summation course.Therefore,this paper attempts to explore the feasibility and scientificity of project-based learning in junior middle school biology experiment teaching from both theoretical and practical aspects:The first part: on the basis of previous studies,using the literature review method to define the relevant concepts of project-based learning,research and analyze the theoretical basis of project-based learning,and then introduce the basic elements,characteristics and process of project-based learning in detail.The second part: according to the relevant theories of project-based learning,the teaching mode of biological experiment teaching in junior middle school based on project-based learning is constructed,the teaching process,application scope and principles are introduced,and the teaching schemes of "environmental conditions of seed germination","practice using microscope" and "making and observing temporary plant loading" are designed,On this basis,taking "environmental conditions of seed germination" as an example,the specific teaching design of "junior middle school biology experiment teaching based on project learning" is designed.The third part: select two parallel classes of Hongdu middle school in Nanchang city of Jiangxi Province as the experimental class and the control class to carry out a three-month teaching empirical study.The control class adopts the traditional teaching mode,while the experimental class adopts the teaching mode of combining project-based learning with traditional teaching.The cooperative learning ability,bioinformatics literacy ability,self-management ability,autonomous learning ability,language expression ability,interest in biology learning and attitude towards biology learning of the students in the two classes are measured by the methods of test,questionnaire and interview.The results show that project-based learning can significantly improve students' academic performance,cooperative learning ability,bioinformatics literacy ability,learning attitude and learning interest(P < 0.05),but it has no significant effect on students' self-management ability and language expression ability(P > 0.05).
