Layout And Optimization Strategy For Competitive Tennis Events In Hubei Province

Competitive tennis events of Hubei Province have achieved many excellent results on both domestic and international fields. However, since current layout of competitive tennis events in Hubei Province failed to keep pace with change of times, competitiveness of competitive tennis decreased significantly. Therefore, competitive tennis events of Hubei Province need to be adjusted. Based on basic principles of layout of competitive sports, the article utilizes methods including literature material method, method of comparative analysis,method of statistical analysis and expert interview method to summarize current situation of competitive tennis layout for Hubei Province, carry out comparative analysis of components for competitive tennis in Hubei Province and Jiangsu Province, find out problem existing in layout of competitive tennis events of Hubei Province, explore intrinsic advantages of competitive tennis in Hubei Province and optimize layout of competitive tennis events in Hubei Province.Researches show that, there are the following problems existing in the competitive tennis project of Hubei:(1) The layout of Hubei's competitive tennis project has still adopted the layout system under the whole nation system, which is quite single. Besides, it is quite closed and lack of communication and cooperation with high-quality resources;(2)Cities and prefectures of Hubei province have quite weak foundations of competitive tennis project, which are not distributed evenly all over the cities or prefectures. There is a great strength gap among all cities and prefectures in the competitive tennis project;(3) Hubei possesses only a few reserve athletes for competitive tennis project. Besides,age distribution of athletes participating in the competitions is unreasonable. It is quite difficult to select qualified tennis athletes;(4) Of competitive tennis coaches in Hubei, there are fewer coaches possessing high degrees and grades. In addition, coaches are not distributed evenly. Hubei is lack of a professional team composed of foreign coaches;(5) Quality of stadiums for competitive tennis project in Hubei is not high. Stadiumswith high-quality facilities are not distributed evenly;(6)There are fewer special funds for competitive tennis project in Hubei.Therefore, the author puts forward several suggestions for the layout of competitive tennis project in Hubei as follows:(1)As the layout of competitive tennis project in Hubei, we should always adhere to the philosophy of “people-oriented, harmonious coexistence, rational planning, scientific training”;(2)As the layout of competitive tennis project in Hubei, it should abide by the following four principles: aiming at fighting for the victory of the National Games, solving the prominent problems of competitive tennis project; according to the actual situations of all areas, distributing the layout flexibly; facing the international competitions, gradually becoming professional; facing the mass, increasing the population of reserve talents.(3)Under the new guideline and principles, the layout of competitive tennis project in Hubei should put forward concrete and manageable strategies to optimize the components affecting the layout of competitive tennis project.
