Tennis course is one of the main courses of colleges and universities sports education professional students, in the sports colleges and universities teaching occupies an extremely important position. But, our country tennis movement started relatively late, college tennis teaching all aspects of objective factors influence is more, the overall level of tennis teaching of colleges and universities is not high. Further reform of education, we see many experts, scholars and research new teaching methods has been discussed, and also a lot of achievements. In tennis teaching in colleges and universities, however, it is not difficult to found that most teachers are still in the traditional teaching method throughout the class. Students just techniques in machine learning and imitating the teacher, listen to the teacher's arrangement, kept repeating the same action. Students lack of initiative and enthusiasm, will be able to go to "the heart" learning techniques, natural control of speed and proficiency will be discounted. With the advancement of education reform, our country sports education workers from the perspective of reform of tennis teaching organization form, combining theoretical research and experimental research, obtained a lot of concrete achievements, effectively improve the tennis teaching level. In this paper, based on the previous scholars research combined with the related theory knowledge, put forward in the teaching of sports colleges and universities tennis elective class with the model of "match teaching method";To test the model of the teaching effect, this article selects the Wuhan sports college sports education level 2013 tennis elective class 15 groups of students as the research object, design organization teaching experiment, the experimental results show that the match teaching method in tennis special course teaching is feasible. "match teaching method" compared with the traditional teaching method;1. On the bottom line stability, the match teaching method than the traditional teaching method of teaching effect is better. 2. The use of match teaching method can stimulate the learning initiative and enthusiasm of the students in elective class, mobilize the students enthusiasm for learning tennis technology, benefit to the improvement of students' comprehensive ability. 3. Use the match teaching method in tennis elective class, to take care of the student's individual differences, good embodies the teaching features of their aptitude, in classroom teaching, the students' individuality and commonness. 4. The match teaching method in classroom teaching competition consciousness, can compete earlier training the students' mentality. 5. Be enhanced self-confidence.
